 RECESS is committed to providing a mind/body approach to emotional and physical health. RECESS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization of The CentreWorks, Inc., whose mission is to provide resources and tools to manage emotional and physical health, thereby impacting lifetime health and wellness. For the past four years, RECESS has been uniquely addressing major challenges in education by offering a transformational program that addresses current educational issues such as classroom management, anger and violence, anxiety, nutrition, asthma, obesity, and self-regulation. This work is part of a national movement to connect the body with our mind-based educational system, making it easier to integrate information.
